Join us at 11:30 a.m. at Ted's Café Escondito Banquet Room at 68th and May in Oklahoma City for lunch and a Central Oklahoma Chapter IRS continuing education event. There is no cost for the CE, but there is a charge of $25 to cover the food cost. Ted's will have an enchilada bar set up for us.
Edward Moore, EA, will provide a one hour CE presentation starting at 12:00 noon on "Revisiting Retirement Rules."
In this 1 hour CE event, we will examine and explore the tax laws and guidance regarding key changes brought by SECURE 1.0 and SECURE 2.0, changes to required minimum distributions, stretch IRAs and the 5-year and 10-year rules, expanded Roth IRA options, catch-up changes, emergency withdrawals, penalty-free distributions, and more. Whether you do a lot of retirement planning and tax returns with clients or are just expanding into this field, this presentation has a ton of great information for you! Discussion and commentary will be provided to assist you in meeting your clients' compliance needs.
