"The One big Beautiful Bill Act"
This presentation will analyze individual and business provisions of the OBBB Act, including an overview of the bill by sections and a critique of the No Tax on Tips and No Tax on Overtime provisions. The presentation will weigh tax planning now and going forward, evaluate the bunching of itemized deductions, assess SALT and related PTET issues, address estate tax issues, assess the Green Energy Credits and new expiration dates, and will discuss navigating standard deductions and the Child Tax Credit. Finally, this program will identify what has been extended, made permanent, or eliminated. Our profession continues to be challenged and tax changes never rest, nor should tax professionals.
